We’re pleased to welcome Charlie Perkins to the Riordan Fuels team for the latest rotation of our Graduate Program.

Charlie joins the Fuels team at a challenging time for the industry and is seeing first-hand the role reliable fuel supply plays in keeping Australian agriculture and regional businesses moving.

As part of the Graduate Program, Charlie spent his first year working across our regional storage sites and fertiliser operations, gaining experience in grain receival and quality testing through to the storage and outturn of bulk commodities.

It’s given him a practical understanding of how grain quality is managed through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
“When grain is coming in directly from the paddock, you can see how seasonal conditions impact quality load by load, and then how that grain needs to be managed in bulk to meet the requirements of our end customers,” Charlie said.

Charlie has already covered plenty of ground in his first year, gaining experience across the agricultural supply chain and seeing how the different parts of Riordan work together. We look forward to seeing where the next rotation takes him.
